... Does the fact that they didn&#039;t successfully pass these values on to their children mean they are not really a great generation at all?  Does the fact that their children, and children&#039;s children rebelled from these values really mean they were not the &#039;greatest&#039; generation at all?  Does it mean that these things had become to them legalistic cultural norms not the fruit of changed hearts by the gospel and their kids saw through that hypocrisy?  Does this actually mean we should strive for something much greater and different that this generation wasn&#039;t even close to?
